Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the PC and smartphone
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound and notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, you can choose to enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  5. Select the notification alert you want to use
  6. Tap “OK”
