Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. After the process completes, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard format for use on the Android phone.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used for backing up and sharing iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the process is done, send the vCard to your email address as an attachment
  4. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
