Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File transfer at the prompt from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the Ringtone and Notifications folders
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert
- Tap OK
