Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and use Google Contacts to import it to your phonebook
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android phone
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
