Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification shade
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- After the process is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Tap the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone and select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap OK
