Transfer Audio Files form a Computer:
- Connect the phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage preferably in the Ringtones and/or Notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Tap the desired ringtone
- Tap OK and optionally enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Settings
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification > Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert sound
- Tap OK to confirm
