Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, then you can sync the account data with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and sign in with your Google account
- Click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- After the sync completes, sign in with the same account on the Android phone and allow the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the export completes, follow one of these steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook using Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both phones via the Play Store and App Store, respectively
- Launch the app on the phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
