Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media file MTP” when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the media files on the phone
  5. Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notification folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe the home screen up and open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound”
  3. Go to “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone from the list

Change the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Swipe up on the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  5. Go to “Set ringtone”
  6. Select the desired ringtone from the list

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Swipe up on the home screen and open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  5. Turn ON or OFF “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and/or “Sever threats”
