Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Launch iTunes on the PC and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts with
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is complete, sign in with the same account used in iTunes and set the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the processes below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts over email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android device
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app for iOS and Android you can use is Send Anywhere which can transfer content over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both phones via their app stores
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
