Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media file MTP” when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC
  4. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Access “Sound”
  4. Tap “Phone Ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Swipe up on the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  5. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound” and select the desired ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  5. Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
