Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable Media File MTP at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and/or Notifications folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom
- Launch Settings
- Access Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cant assign custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Save
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch Settings
- Access Sound
- Tap Default notification sound
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Wireless Alerts > Menu
- Tap Settings and turn Allow alerts AMBER Alerts Extreme threats and Severe threats ON or OFF
