Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File MTP” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen and launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  5. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “Save” to confirm

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Tap “Settings” > “Wireless alerts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  5. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER Alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
