Transfer Audio Files from a PC to Use as Ringtones:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media Device” / “File Transfer” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files
  4. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “notifications” folders
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” > “Phone ringtone” or access “Recording” or “Music”
  3. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK”

Change the Notification Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
  2. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  3. Select the desired notification ringtone
  4. Tap “OK”

Enable or Disable System Sounds:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Other Sounds”
  4. Select between “Dial pad tones” “Screen locking sounds” “Vibrate on tap” “Chagrin sounds” “Touch sounds” and “Power up tone”
  5. Enable or disable the features as desired
  6. Optionally, you can change the “Emergency tone” settings as well

Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Do Not Disturb”
  4. Select between “Always” or “Scheduled”
  5. Optionally, tap “Disturb Rules” and select “Alarms only” “Priority only” or “Total silence”
  6. To disable Do Not Disturb, select “Never”
