Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File MTP” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “Save”

Change Notification Alert Sounds:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
  2. Tap “Default notification sound”
  3. Select the notification ringtone you wish to set

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Wireless alerts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  5. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
