Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up to your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with an Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
  5. Click “Export vCard” and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup for iOS. This app can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Launch the app and use it to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email
  4. Attach the vCard to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Use the “Contacts” app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app for Android and iOS you can use to back up and share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring a computer with Internet access.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
  2. Open the app on both phones
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
