Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or form the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC
  4. Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Sound”
  2. Tap “Phone Ringtone”
  3. Select the ringtone you want to assign

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save” to confirm

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” and tap “Default notification sound”
  3. Select the notification ringtone you want to use

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
