Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media File” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the desired files to the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders located on the phone storage
  6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Save” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “Messages’
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Tap “wireless alerts”
  4. Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
