Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the computer and smartphone
- Enable Media File on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification shade
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC and copy the desired files
- Paste the files to the Ringtones and / or Notifications directories on the phone storage
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Save
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound
- Tap Default notification sound
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Wireless alerts
- Turn ON or OFF Allow alerts AMBER alerts Extreme threats and Severe threats
