Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media File” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC and copy the desired ones
  5. Paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Access “Wireless alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
