How Can I convert from MMF to MIDI??
I found a web site with tons of Ringtones in mmf format, but i need them in midi format... Anybody knows how to do that?
I would like to found a web site with this program... I have the PSM player version 3.80, but I dont know how to, or even if this program can do the job.
Thanks a lot

You can DL TONS of MMF files from
http://www.brewbackups.com
You have to register though, otherwise the downloads section will appear empty.
The newest version of PSM Player is 4.5 (English). You can grab it here:

Just to answer a few common questions...PSM can convert MIDI's>>MMF or vice-versa. You can also convert WAV>>MMF. You CANNOT convert MP3/WAV to MIDI. MIDI's are simply a set of instructions that tell your computers synthesizer what to play--the files do not contain any actual sounds.
Most phones play MIDI's...some also play MMF's. For all you Motorola T720 users out there, your phone can also play MMF's. Just rename your .mmf extension to .mid. This is an advantage as this phone seems to play MIDI files very softly.

mmf
I need that converter as well, but curious, what is an .mmf file? Is this a specifi phones audio file, or some random file generated from a proprietary audio creater?

anyone really did it?
i have the full version of mobile music polyphonic, which cointains the psm player. It can convert wav to mmf, but the mmf sounds exactly like the wave file.
So i don't think there is any program thet can convert mmf to midi because it's differnt kind. The mobile music polyphonic has a conversion program from wave to midi but the recognicion sistem is not quite accurate! And the bad thing is that it recognizes the beat and you have to put the instruments separatly by yourself.
So if anyone really knows how to convert wave, or mmf to midi and works pls tell me!ehee
