as far as what is CPF, please check the FAQ for everything you need to know about the site. as far as using a Net10 phone with someone else's company, this is also a very common question, and the answer is that you can only use Net10's phone with someone else's SIM under 2 conditions:

first, you must be able to unlock the phone, ie put in a code to make it work for any provider. sometimes the unlock codes are easy to find online, other times they are not.

second, if you are about to get a new service provider, make sure they are a GSM network or else the free phone they give you won't have a SIM card and therefore you will be stuck with a net10 phone you can't use.

if you need more info about unlocked phones, you can probably find
everything you need to know using CPF's search feature

    hope this helps!

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your interest in NET10 Wireless. We are responding to your recent inquiry.

NET10 Wireless is pay-as-you-go, with no contracts, credit checks, monthly fees, security deposits, activations or reactivation charges, or age restrictions and also provides free voicemail, caller ID and call waiting. NET10 Wireless offers all local, roaming and long distance calls at one low rate of 10¢ per minute with no connection or daily access fees. Text messages cost 5¢ each.

NET10 Wireless has a special prepaid technology that is built into each wireless phone. For this reason, you will not be able to use another GSM phone with our service, even if you install a NET10 SIM card into it. In order to switch to our service, you will need to purchase a NET10 phone.

NET10 phones and Prepaid Wireless Airtime cards are available at most Target, Wal-Mart, KMart, Meijer, Seven Eleven, OfficeMax and other major retailers nationwide. You can also purchase on our web site at www.net10.com or contact our Direct Sales Department at 1-877-TEN-CENT.

Although most NET10 phones support Mobile Internet connectivity and Multimedia Messaging Service, these features are currently not available. We may offer that in the future.

Should you have any other question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

I have heard that its really hard to find the Liberty prepaid cards to put on a Liberty account. I think it is because not many stores carry liberty.

if you are looking for liberty wirless prepaid cards, you can find them on our site, or by clicking here. Liberty is great if you are looking for a prepaid service and plan to use a large volume of minutes. I would reccomend it over Net10
