i live in so cal, so OC to be a little more exact. Laguna Hills/Mission Viejo/El Toro/Laguna Nigail area. I wouldn't mind paying up to 50$ for a phone, but no more then that, and less/free is best. I don't want to be on a contract. I currently have a job and im making a ton of money, but I might quit in a couple months due to the working conditions when the boss is there, then I don't want to continue to pay for a cell phone and drain my savings if i don;t get another job for while.

I do NOT want to be on a contract. Thats why I was going to go with Amp'd! and a hybrid plan, so i could get a FREE phone, and one that looked pretty cool too, plus on a decent plan. I was going to go for the 30$ a month one since I don't need a lot. From reading what everyone says its a terrible company though? from what i read hybrid plans are the worse and are treated like both service and prepaid sometimes and have problems with billing?

Any suggestions for where to go? I want to pay 30$ a month(OR LESS!, I would strongly prefer less, but I'm not seeing anything less, unless i went prepaid, but prepaid seems to be a rip on most places)

the other thing i was looking at was tmobile and the PEBL, except on their website it says out of stock on the PEBL now. Also, Its a web only discount and I want to buy online, which leads to another problem with tmobile, i do NOT want to use my SS number over the internet. I just dont. They require it when signing up.

I was looking at their service plans, not prepaid. I was just going to settle for that. I don't really want a pre-paid either though. I want a month to month plan without a contract, like the hybrid that Amp'd has.
