My dad initially sought out Net10 as an alternative to long distance plans from landline telcos, nearly all of which have minimum charges.

He initially used a Nokia 1600, which was prone to pocket-dialling.

Eventually, he started using autobilling to add minutes, but the least he can add per month is still 150 (currently elevated to 200 per a recent message)

He got tired of the pocket-dialling and recently got a second account with a Samsung SGH-T201g, a flip phone that does not have that problem. He still has the 1600, which he is loaning to my mother because she occasionally has to make LD calls of her own.

Now, he wants to transfer the minutes from the 1600 to the T201g - which, Net10 has already told him, will deactivate the phone - and have mom reactivate the 1600 on her own.

Trouble is, there seems to be no easy way to do all this through the existing Net10 CS number. And, he's the 'I'd like to get a human when I call a CS number" type. Meanwhile, some other forums I've read appear to suggest Net10 can't do what he wants.

I appreciate any answers you can provide.
