I have an upcoming visit with an aunt in Hanover Ontario who doesn't have internet. I don't use a cell plan for my phone and tablet at home as I can rely on my home WiFi for all internet needs and use VOiP for calls and texts. So after a little research, I've come to the conclusion that my best option is a hotspot device with a short term prepaid sim for while I'm there. I tend to use a lot of data, (lots of downloads, streaming, etc.) so an unlimited data plan is preferred. But as I mentioned before, I use a VOiP application for all calls and texts so I really don't need a plan with those as its main feature or even not at all. Something like this: T-Mobile Prepaid SIM Card Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data (USA, Canada and Mexico) for 10 days (type it in on Amazon) looks perfect, but as you can see, the negative review has me suspicious that its too good to be true. To sum up, I'm looking for a one-time pay, short term, unlimited data, hotspot device compatible sim card from a provider with coverage in SW Ontario. Any suggestions or even different ideas are more than welcome. Thanks for reading.
