PalmOne Treo 600- If you have one read this

Hello all!!! I just got this phone (bought it two days ago)
And I already want to fool around with the ringtones etc...
I just dont know how to load ringtones onto this phone.
any information will be a help

I've given up on trying to get new ringtones on this thing.

Yeah, and ALOT of them come out sounding like CRAP because I guess there's only a few notes that the Palm uses. It's really not all about the ringtones... so...

oh no ..... stupid treo... does it do MP3's?

OMG... I'll text my geeky buddy who has one!! (I know what you're thinking "Jeanie is way too cool to have geeky buddies" - but hey... anyone who will stay up 'til 2AM drinking water and eating string cheese in a hotel room so that we don't have hangovers in the morning qualifies as a very good buddy!)

It doesn't play MP3's as ringtones no BUT I do have Pocket Tunes (and MP3 player for the Treo )

Thanks! I actually founf that when I first got my treo...
after reading it I realized I don't care THAT much to have special ringers on this thing

I didn't mislead anyone.
I will quote the web page (the one YOU linked me to) and it CLEARLY states:
"By default, the Treo cannot natively use mp3 (and other audio) files as ringtones" (then it goes on to say you need to have a special program installed).

You said it did'nt pay MP3's, But anywho...There are several program that will play MP3's and none are special by any means.....

I said it doesn't play MP3's as ringtones. And, the only way it does is if you PAY for a program that sets your palm up to do so. (what I meant by "special" is that it's specifically for installing ringers onto your phone)
What's your beef?! I never knew someone could be so critical in this forum!
