    Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

Aside from its more obvious features, iTunes offers great syncing tools for your iPhone, allowing you to transfer contacts from the said smartphone to a Google account. Synced contacts include the contact image, email, address and any other contact notes saved within the contact. For this method you are required to have a computer with Internet access and iTunes installed.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the proprietary USB cable
    3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to open its summary page
    4. Access the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With"
    6. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
    7. Register your Google account in iTunes. If you've done this before, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
    8. To commence the syncing process, click "Apply"
    9. On the One Mini 2, register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes, and allow it to sync contacts with your Android device. NOTE: if you need to add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

Assuming that you've enabled the iCloud service on your iPhone prior to following this guide, then your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing it using a computer with Internet access, you can export these contacts for use on an Android device. To do so:

    1. Use your computer's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts" and select the contacts that you wish to export
    4. Click the icon shaped like a cog wheel (located in the lower-left) and select "Export vCard"
    5. Wait for your computer to download the VCF file
    6. Once downloaded, import the file to "Google Contacts"
    7. Alternatively, connect the One Mini 2 to your computer via USB, and copy the vCard file in the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then launch the "People" app, access the "People" tab and press "Menu" > "Import / Export". Select to import from the SD card and follow any additional steps to import the vCard file on your device's phonebook

Transferring Contacts Using "My Contacts Backup":

"My Contacts Backup" is an iOS application that allows you to transfer contacts from an iPhone without needing a computer with Internet access. The app is able to compile your contacts in the form of a VCF file, which can then be send to your HTC One Mini 2 via email. To do so:

    1. Go to the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your device
    2. Launch the application and tap "Backup". This will create a backup file containing the iPhone's contacts
    3. Once you have the file, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
    4. Send the email to your own Gmail account
    5. On the HTC One Mini 2, open the email and download the VCF file attached to it
    6. Import the vCard file's contents to your phonebook, using the "People" app and the "Import" function

    Transferring Contacts through "Send Anywhere":

"Send Anywhere" is an iOS and Android application with the help of which you can transfer your contacts without a computer. This app creates a P2P connection in order to transfer contacts and various other file types. To do so:

    1. Access the Google Play Store and Install "Send Anywhere" on the One Mini 2
    2. Launch the App Store and download the application on your iPhone as well
    3. Open the app on both smartphones
    4. From the sender device (the iPhone), tap "Send"
    5. Tap "Contacts" and mark the contacts that you wish to share
    6. Tap "Send" and select the desired method of transfer. By tapping "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone, you can create a code which can be scanned with the Mini 2's camera. You can also tap "Receive" on the Mini 2, and input the transfer code that has been randomly generated on the iPhone
