Sorry if this has been discussed before; I've searched for an answer but I could not locate an appropriate thread...

I purchased a like new used AT&T Tilt for my daughter and the firmware is version 6.0. I noticed that version 6.1 is available and I had two questions:

1/ is this a worthwhile upgrade?
2/ can a Mac laptop be used to install the software or do I need to use my Win PC?

Any and all other feedback regarding this upgrade/procedure is greatly appreciated in advance!
