There are not apps that will save battery life but there are a few that can help you better know your battery life or end tasks running in the background. I like Task Manager, an app that lets you easily end apps that are running in the background. Also, I have BatteryStatus, an app that shows you your percentage of battery life remaining, your battery health, battery temperature, battery voltage, and even battery status. It's free and just add it to your home screen so in one touch, you have all the infor.
