Sending an Email:

  1. Open the "Mail" app
  2. Select the email account that you wish to use. (Note: if this is the first time using the app, you will be asked to select an account type and add an email account. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup)
  3. Tap the "+" button
  4. Enter one or more recipients in the appropriate field. Note: to add a carbon copy or a blind carbon copy, tap "Menu" > "Show Cc/Bcc"
  5. Enter the subject in the "Subject" field and type in your message in the text box
    • To add an attachment, tap the "Attach" button depicting a paperclip, and browse for the desired file
    • To set priority for an important email, tap the "Menu" button > "Set priority"
  6. Tap "Send". Alternatively, you can tap the "Back" button to save the email as a draft

Resuming a Draft Email Message:

  1. Access the "Mail" app and go to an email inbox account
  2. Tap the "Menu" button and tap "Folder"
  3. Select "Draft"
  4. Tap the desired message and edit it if necessary
  5. When ready, tap "Send"

Replying to an Email Message:

  1. Open the "Mail" app
  2. Select the email account that you wish to use
  3. In the email account inbox, select the email message or conversation that you wish to read
  4. Tap "Reply" or "Reply to All"
  5. Write your reply and tap "Send"

Saving an Email Message in the "Tasks" App:

  1. In the "Mail" app, select the desired email account inbox
  2. Press and hold the message that you wish to save, and then tap "Save as task"
  3. Enter the task's details, and tap "Save"

Adding an Additional Email Account:

  1. Open the "Mail" app
  2. Tap "Menu" > "Add account"
  3. Select the desired email provider, or tap "Other (POP3 / IMAP)"
  4. Enter the email address and password, then tap "Next"
  5. Optionally, type in a name for your account
  6. Tap "Finish setup"

Managing Email Messages

Moving Email Messages to a Different Folder:

  1. Go in the "Mail" app and select the account that you wish to use
  2. Select the email messages that you want to move. Optionally, you can press the "Menu" icon and tap "Select all"
  3. Tap "Move to" and select a folder

Deleting Email messages:

  1. In the "Mail" app, switch to the account that you wish to use
  2. Select the email messages that you want to delete. If you wish to delete all the messages, tap "Menu" > "Select all"
  3. Tap "Delete"

Working With Exchange ActiveSync Email

Flagging an Email:

  1. Switch to your Exchange ActiveSync account
  2. In the inbox, press the "flag" icon associated with the desired email message or conversation

Setting an Out of the Office Status:

  1. Switch to your Exchange ActiveSync Account
  2. Press the "Menu" icon and tap "Out of office"
  3. Select your current status, and then tap "Out of the office"
  4. Set the desired times and dates and enter the auto-reply message
  5. If you wish to set a different auto-reply message for recipients outside of your organization, select the "Send replies to external senders" option and then enter the auto-reply message in the appropriate box
  6. Tap "Save"

Sending a Meeting Request:

  1. In your Exchange ActiveSync account, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "New meeting invitation"
  3. Enter the meeting details
  4. Press "Save". Alternatively, tap "Send" if you have invited people to the meeting
