    Checking the Amount of SD Storage:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Phone"
    3. Tap "Storage"
    4. The "Available" value is located under "SD card"

    Formatting the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD card will result in the deletion of all data stored on it, including downloaded content, ringtones, contacts etc. If necessary, create backups before proceeding.

    1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Tap "Format SD Card" under "SD card"
    4. Tap "Erase SD Card" to confirm
    5. From the pop-up message, tap "Erase Everything"

    Opening / Deleting Files on the SD Card

    Opening / Deleting Files Using the Smartphone:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Launch "My Files"
    3. From the app, tap "All files" > "SD memory card"
    4. Navigate to the desired files or folders
    5. To open a file, tap it
    6. To delete a file, mark the check box next to it and tap the "Trash can" icon
    7. Press "OK"

    Opening / Deleting Files on the SD Card Using a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC Desire 516 to your computer via USB
    2. Swipe the "Status" bar down using two fingers
    3. Tap "USB Connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. In the AutoPlay window, click "Open folder to view files"
    5. Locate the desired files stored on the SD Card
    6. To open a file, double-click it
    7. To delete a file, right-click it and click "Delete"
    8. After performing the desired actions, click the "Removable Storage" icon in the system tray to safely disconnect your smartphone

    Transferring Files Between the SD Card and a Computer

    Transferring Files via Mac Computer:

    1. On the Mac, install HTC Sync Manager if necessary
    2. Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 516 and Mac
    3. HTC Sync Manager should pop-up once the smartphone connects
    4. To manage the files stored on the SD card, follow the on-screen prompts

    Transferring Files Using a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC Desire 516 to your PC using the USB cable
    2. From the home screen, drag the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "USB Connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. On the computer, an AutoPlay window should appear. From there, double click "Open folder to view files"
    5. Navigate to the desired files on the SD card
    6. Transfer the files between the computer and the phone's external memory as you see fit
    7. After you have finished, tap "Disconnect storage from PC"
    8. Safely disconnect your smartphone

    Changing the Storage Location for Apps

    NOTE: By default the majority of applications tend to store data on the smartphone's internal memory. You can set these apps to store data on the SD card instead, as explained below:

    Changing Storage Settings for the "Internet" App:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Launch the "Internet" app
    3. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
    4. Go to "Advanced" and tap "Download storage"
    5. Tap "Storage Card"

    Changing the Camera App's Storage Settings:

    1. Open the "Camera" application
    2. Press "Menu" and touch "Settings"
    3. Tap "Storage" and select "SD card"

    Changing Storage Location for the "Voice Recorder" App:

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
    2. Launch the "Voice Recorder" app
    3. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
    4. Go to "Storage" and tap "SD Card"

    io ho un htc desire 516 dual sim ... ma non trovo le voci che tu descrivi e quindi non riesco a gestire la scheda sd

    Bel post,
    PECCATO che nella Home non ci sia alcuna icona Internet!!
    Tutti i riferimenti sono casuali e comunque non hanno nessuna attinenza con il Desire 516 (che é HTC).
    Non sarà il caso di andare a raccogliere pomodori invece di fare perdere tempo agli altri ?
