Managing Contacts

Creating a Contact:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Tap "Contacts" and press the "Add" icon
  3. Enter the contact's name in the proper field
  4. Tap the button under "Contact Type" and select the desired option
  5. Tap the button under "Phone" and select the desired phone number type
  6. Enter the contact's phone number in the "Phone" field
  7. Add an email address and any other details if necessary
  8. When ready, tap "Save"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Tap "Menu" > "Speed dial" > "Add"
  3. Scroll to and select the desired contact. Note: you can also use the "Search" field
  4. Tap the button under "Number" and select the phone number you wish to assign for speed dialing
  5. Under "Location", tap the button and select a speed dial number
  6. Tap "Save"

Importing / Exporting Contacts from / to the SD Card:

  1. Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
  2. Launch "Contacts"
  3. Tap "Menu" > "Manage contacts"
  4. Tap "Import / Export contacts"
  5. Select "Export to SD card" or "Import from SD card"
  6. Select the contacts you wish to transfer. To select all contacts, press "Menu" > "Select all"
  7. Tap "Save"

Importing / Exporting contacts from / to the SIM Card:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch "Contacts"
  2. Tap "Menu"
  3. Tap "Manage contacts" > "Import / Export contacts"
  4. Select to "Export to SIM card" or "Import from SIM card"
  5. Choose the contacts you wish to copy, or tap "Menu" > "Select all"
  6. Tap "Save"

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Contacts" and press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Delete contacts" and select the contacts you wish to delete
  4. Tap "Delete" to confirm

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a Caller Group:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon while on a home screen
  2. Tap "Phone" > "Groups"
  3. Go to the "Groups" tab
  4. Tap the "Add" icon and enter the desired name for the group
  5. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Launch the "Phone" app
  2. Tap "Phone" > "Groups"
  3. Swipe to the "Groups" tab and select the desired group
  4. Tap the "Add" icon
  5. Mark the check box(es) associated with the contact(s) you wish to add to the group. NOTE: you can use the "Search" field
  6. Tap "Save"
