    Just a little advice

I would suggest you through it back in the phone anywhere, get insurrance on your phone and then throw the whole thing in the garbage. Say it was stolen. Or just go buy another and don't try taking it apart

Buy a new phone. Why were you taking apart your phone in the first place?

I did the same with my kx414 and it was the part where you plug in the charger. Three contacts line up with the three contacts under the hole where the charger plugs in. Set it in the right direction before putting back together or it wont work. This is a vital part. and the phone will not charge without it. If it is the speaker that fell out than you must put that in with the gold colord contact facing in towards the phone or it won't work. I found out the hard way.

If you put the speaker in and you still cant hear, the speaker is in backwards.

Also you have to make sure the micraphone is in and facing the right direction.

Over all this phone is hard to take apart. I would not reccomend it unless you have done this in the past. This is not a good phone to get a lesson in face plate changing.

I will try to post some pics when I get a chance.
Cellphone shmellphone, I use a rotary phone connected to a transister radio with duct tape and a hanger for an antenna.

Sounds like the battery contact fell out. It is the only thing that matches that description. The charge port is yellow with 2 connections, and the speaker is black rubbery with 2 springy connections. The battery contact is black hard plastic with 3 contacts, that connect the battery to the main circuit board.

Just press the battery connector into the rear frame (it only goes one way). Then put phone back together. No need to take circuit board out of front housing, just leave it face down on something soft. The only thing that sucks about the phantom covers, are the yellow charger connector falls out very easily.

If you want to preserve the warranty, heat the warranty sticker up just a little, and pull off with some tweezers. It will just stick right back on no problem, so you dont void the warranty.

I have worked on hundreds of these phones, so it has just become 2nd nature putting these things together.
