Ring Tones for LG 4400 - Newbie Question

Hi,

I am a novice when it comes to my phone. Can anyone provide a brief overview as to what is required to download new ringtones to my phone? I have a USB cable for the phone and I downloaded BitPim to my machine (I saw that mentioned in a lot of other forums). What kind of files can I upload to the phone? Can anyone recommend some good websites for downloadedable ringtones? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I assume since you have a 4400 you have Verizon's service. If you don't mind spending a little money, check out their Get It Now and you can download them wirelessly to your phone.

The whole point of getting the USB cable was to avoid using Get It Now and to load whatever tones I want for free. I see lots of others on these forums doing that, so I was hoping for a little advice on how to proceed.
