I'll look into it
I know someone who has done it on the vx6000, but I didn't ask how because I don't like the real music ringtones
Sounds like an old radio, but that's just me

That's how the quality is dude...
I know how to do it with Sprint Sanyo phones, but not Verizon.
If its not alot easier than Sprint, you wont want to do it.

well the quality that you get when you send the sound through picture e mail is below sub par. and the only problem with that is the saved sound from your picture email can only be saved if it is under 30kb. to get longer clips and better quality look under the thread labeled "help convert mp3 to midi's" there you can get detailed info on what you want as far as mp3's on your phone

Re: real music as ringtones
I still haven't figured out how to put real music as ringtone, but what I do is record the music when its playing on computer or radio then set it as ringtone.
Cheap way, but does the work eh.

Re: real music as ringtones
I have a process - maybe a little lengthy but it gives me good quality and I get exactly what I want. I use EXPStudio Audio Editor to slice and dice my mp3 (this creates a wav), then I use wav to mp3 encoder to convert it back to an mp3 and voila!! --- Also, did you know, you can mess with the decibal level of your ringtone in Bitpim before you put it on your phone so the volume is good and doesn't sound like it's coming from a tin can? Hope these tid bits work for ya!
