    And.....
    I installed everything got the drivers up and running (after some troubleshooting) and for the first time, i got the blue screen of death. So i rebooted everything re-did all the drivers...transferred a ringtone successfully...and 10 min. later, i got the blue screen again. And again. Everytime i have to reboot i have to reinstall the drivers and everything. And then a few minutes later or so the blue screen will pop up again. Anyone have this problem? IT SUCKS.
    Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    I was able to access my VX7000 via the USB cable, only my PC reboots upon disconecting the cable. WIN XP PRO?? It kind of freeks me out because I try a lot of bogus sh@t and never get a sys reboot.

    Are you using bitpim or QPST? If bitpim, try QPST, it seems to work a lot better with LG, at least it does for me.

    Using QPST...

    It's not those programs that are doing it, it's the driver's programs that came with the usb cable.
