Ringtones and LG 1300i

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I have read the sticky but I am still having trouble downloading ringtones. I am using an LG 1300i

I have a test file that should work fine but the problem is getting it to my phone. I send myself an email from my PC with the MP3 as an attachment.

When I receive the text message I choose the EXTRACT option in my phone but it says "Nothing to extract" and I see no visible confirmation that there even is an attachment.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? I would preer to use a data cable but no one seems to know which cable this phone uses ...
