LGVX 6000 Manner Mode??

I bought a phone from Ebay so I don't have a manual for operations. The ringer on the phone has quit and the phone shows "-manner mode-" on the screen. I'm guessing this has to do with the ringer not working. I have set the phone to ringer high but can't figure out how to get rid of the manner mode setting. Can someone advise me as to how to get my ringer back?

hold down the * key. It'll switch to silent mode. Do it again, it'll switch to normal.

You can also use the side keys to switch between modes..

You can only increase the volume with the side buttons.. not take it out of manner mode.

John, if you toggle the lower side key you CAN change between modes, including manner mode.

Hmmmm....I just got my old 6000 out....charged it up a bit...and tried to toggle the manner mode using the side keys....and nothing happened. Is there something specific I have to do?

Use the the lower smaller key, keep pressing and hold for 3 seconds everytime you press....

Just hold down the * key. It will switch from Normal Mode -> Manner Mode -> Silence All and then back to normal. You can adjust the ringer using the side key. From High -> Med -> Low -> Vibrate -> off, but that is just the ringer, not the other sounds like key pad and message alert.
