MIDI/Folder Problem on Phone?

OK, i have heard plenty of things to get ringtones on your phone.. i use the old mail the ringtones to your phone.. it worked great on my vx7000 i just got the new 8100 and they seperate the folders in to My Sounds, My Ringtones.. etc.. now.. it sucks.. i cant use the Sounds as Ringtones.. they sound great and i cant use them!!

Any Comment would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue, except with my VX5200. I just moved from Cingular over to Verizon, and I never had an issue on the old phone with sending the created tones over via text messages. But, with the two different folders and the weird, inability to make a sound into a tone, eh. I'm sad. Anyone know how to do this?
