Can someone please help me find out how to put video files on my LGVX8300. What type of file does it have to be? Thanks

first u either need a data cable or a microsd card
the easiest way is to use the microsd card
the phone only supports the .3g2 video format

I have 1 Gig SD card and then I have the USB cable as well

Well....put your card into the card reader attached to your computer.
Then just drag the movie over to your memory card.
After that, put the card back into your phone, and start watching the movie.

I do not have a card reader on my computer...is there any other way I can transfer the video files using the USB cord?

If you don't have a memory card chances are you will not have enough internal memory left to put much video in.
