Hello. I have a LG VX8100 and I was wondering how to send my ringtones as a sound in a txt message, because the txt only lets me send sounds, not my ringtones... So would there be a way to make the ringtones into sounds or anyway to send the ringtones in a txt message??

    (hope that made sense...)

    Thank you!!

Why not just load the sounds you want on the card and send them from there? Either way that's kind of annoying.

If you have Verizon Wireless, you send the ringtone in a pix message, not a txt message.

pix and txt message are basically the same thing and you can't put ringtones on the files, just sounds, and my question was not about what the difference is between pix and txt messaging, but about how you can put the ringtones as sounds

    Re: Help! Question about sounds

You can try and send it via bluetooth to another phone if they're paired up with you. Else, if it doesn't give you the option of sending it, it's not possible... Or you must just upload it to a free wap server for your friends to download via wap.
