Anyone who owns a Shine, can you tell me how good the reception is in suburban areas?
If I purchase an unlocked Shine, will I be able to use the SIM card from my Samsung SCH-a870 or will I have band compatibility issues (my phone uses the CDMA2000 1X 1900/800 band, but the Shine uses the GSM 900/1800/1900 (Tri-Band) band)?

I have the phone. I wouldn't say its worth spending the money to get an unlocked version but thee reception is really bad every-time someone calls me i have to call them back and it very hard to hear them when they are talking to you.
