What do I need to do to listen to a cell call in stereo and record it at the same tim

What do I need to do to listen to a call call in stereo (my headset supports it and works OK) and record a cell call at the same time w/my LGenv?

I can only hear in mono while using the radio shack device here:

I all works fine except that the call is in mono in stead of stereo, likely due to the device sending the mono output.

Anyone know of an 2.5 male <-> (2.5 female x2) adapter so I can by pass the device and still record?

Any other suggestions?


BTW, the LG env tech at Verizon said the "record call" button only records the "other side" of the call and not whoever is speaking ...said it's working as intended (I don't get it, but that was the answer)

um, since when were phone calls in stereo?

Hear the call in both ears. The headset I have works this way until I put the rec device in the setup...
