I recently bought a headphone converter which goes into the bottom of my Rumor (where the usb cable goes) and it converts the usb/charger jack to a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Heres where my problem lies. I plug my earbuds into the converter and it doesnt do anything. The sound still comes out of the speakers when im playing music. If anyone knows what to do please help!
