I don't know where to begin :/

I recently got a cable for my cell phone on ebay but the cd it came with was made by the seller and didn't really include any installation software, just some vague reference links. So I really don't know what I need to get started. I've tried googling some questions but I can't find anything definite. I mostly just want to send games from my pc to my cell phone.

My phone is an LG model VX5300, I don't know the brand of my data cable but it's listed as CLGE8300DAT1 if that means anything.

Sorry if this is obvious, I don't know if I was supposed to receive an installation cd or not, but thanks for any help.

At this point I think your best bet would be to get the cable and disc from LG themselves. The disc you got is "home made" and most likely just a copy with the required .exe and/or driver files missing. You could also try going to a Verizon Wireless Corporate store and picking up the data cable and software there. Yes, you'll need to purchace these again. The good part is that you'll be assured that it'll work as it's supposed to.
