Lg Venus keeps shutting off

I have had this phone for a year and no problems up until now. After sending a text or opening and closing my phone it shuts off. Has anyone else had this problem with this phone?

This is usually a hint that you have a pending software update.

This means a newer software version of this phone has been released and you can get the software update by visiting any Verizon Wireless Communications store that has software updating available...not all stores can, but most.

Before doing this, just try *228 option 2. This may or may not correct the issue...but on the plus side, when you do *228 you get an improved coverage area if anything has improved since the last time it was done.
