I have a lotus that i love from when i had a plan with another person,now i have to get a pre paid account be cause i do not have steady income,can i use this phone?and for what companies?

You can activate that phone on Page Plus Cellular, but you would need to flash it. This requires some technical knowledge and the correct applications. You can also have somebody flash that phone for you. Page Plus Cellular offers pay by the minute plans in addition to monthly plans.

You can also flash the phone to another CDMA carrier that allows other devices on their network. You cannot use the phone with prepaid services that use SIM cards, since the phone isn't compatible with the network.

It might be cheaper to get another phone that works with a prepaid provider out of the box, without needing to make any modifications.
