How-to: LG G2: Manage, Delete and Send Messages (SMS / MMS)

Sending a Group Text Messages (SMS):

1. While on the home screen, tap "Contacts"
2. Go to the "Groups" tab
3. Select the group that you wish to send the message to
4. Press the "Menu" key and tap "Send message"
5. Select the members that you wish to add as recipients. Alternatively, tap "Select all"
6. Press "Done"
7. Enter the message for your SMS and tap "Send" when ready

Sending a New Picture or Video in a Message (MMS):

1. While on the home screen, tap the "Messaging" app
2. Tap "Compose"
3. In the "To" field, enter the recipient's phone number. Alternatively, tap the "Contact" icon and select a contact from the list
4. Tap the "Enter message" field and enter the text for your MMS
5. Tap "Attach" and select one of the following:
   
   • Using a New Picture:
     
     1. Tap "Take photo"
     2. Frame the subject and tap the "Camera" button
     3. Tap "OK"
   • Using a New Video:
     
     1. Tap "Record video"
     2. Frame the subject and tap the "Record" button to start the recording process
     3. Tap the "Stop" icon to end the recording process
     4. Tap "OK"
6. Once ready, tap "Send"

Sending a Saved Picture or Video in a Message (MMS):

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Messaging"
2. Press "Compose"
3. Enter the recipient's phone number in the "To" field. Alternatively, tap the "Contacts" icon and select a contact from the list
4. Tap the "Enter message" field and enter the desired text message
5. Press "Attach" and select either "Image" or "Video"
6. Navigate to and select the file that you wish to attach
7. Tap "OK" and then press "Send" when ready

Deleting a Message (SMS and / or MMS):

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Messaging"
2. Select the message thread containing the text or multimedia message
3. Tap and hold the message that you wish to delete
4. Tap "Delete" and tap "Yes" to confirm

Saving Pictures Received in an MMS:

1. From any of the home screens, open "Messaging"
2. Select the message thread containing the picture message
3. Tap and hold the picture, and then tap "Save attachment"
4. If necessary, select the location where you want to save the file to
5. Tap "OK"

Viewing the SMS Service Center Number:

1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
2. Tap "Messaging"
3. Press the "Menu" key and select "Settings"
4. Tap "Text message"
5. View the "Service center address"
