Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer to Use as Ringtones and Notifications:

  1. Connect your G Pro Lite to your computer via USB
  2. Tap "Media sync (MTP)" when prompted
  3. On your computer, in the "AutoPlay" window, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window on your computer and locate the desired audio files on your HDD
  5. Copy the desired audio files, and paste them on your phone's storage. NOTE: the audio files that you want to use as notification sounds should go in the "Notification" folder, and ringtones in "Ringtones"
  6. After the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
  7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  8. You can now disconnect your smartphone from your PC

Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. After transferring the desired audio files in the "Ringtones" folder, press "Menu" from the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings" > "Sound"
  3. Under "Ringtone & Notifications", tap "Phone ringtone"
  4. Choose the desired audio file. NOTE: the audio files transferred in the "Ringtones" folder should appear under "My Ringtones"

Changing the Ringtone for One Specific Contact:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Choose the contact that you want to edit
  3. Tap "Edit", scroll down and then tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
  4. Choose the desired ringtone from the list and tap "OK"
  5. Tap "Save"

Changing the Notification Sound:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings" > "Sound"
  3. Scroll down to "System" and tap "Notification sound"
  4. Select the desired audio file. NOTE: files copied in the "Notification" folder will appear under "My Notifications". Also, if the box is grayed out, you'll need to change the "Sound Profile" to "Sound", from "Silent"
