Blocking Calls from a Phone Number:

  1. While viewing a home screen, tap the "Menu" key
  2. Select "System settings"
  3. Tap "Call" > "Call reject"
  4. Tap "Call reject mode" and select "Reject calls on list". NOTE: if "Reject calls on list" is selected already, skip to the next step
  5. Tap "Rejection list" and press the "Add" icon
  6. Perform one of the following sets of steps:
    • To block a contact: select the desired contact and tap "Done"
    • To block a number from the call logs: tap the desired call log entry and tap "Done"
    • To block a new number: type in the phone number that you want to block, and tap "Save"

Unblocking a Number:

  1. From any of the home screens, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "System settings"
  3. Tap "Call" > "Call reject "> "Rejection list"
  4. Touch the icon depicting a "Trash can"
  5. Select the number(s) that you wish to unblock
  6. Press "Delete" and tap "Yes" to confirm

Blocking Calls Using Third Party Applications:

While the LG Optimus L9 II offers various blocking features by default, you can try out various third party applications that may offer more. Apps such as "Call Blocker", "Call Control" and "Call Blacklist" offer a wide range of blocking features and options, such as password protection, call logs, the ability to block messages, blacklists, whitelists and more.
