Transferring Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between your LG G3 S and computer
  2. On the smartphone, tap "Media sync (MTP)" if prompted. If not, swipe the "notification" bar down and tap the option from there
  3. An AutoPlay window should appear on the computer. From there, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your PC
  5. Copy the files you wish to use as ringtones and notifications
  6. Navigate to the phone's storage, and paste the files in the "Ringtones" and "Notifications" folders
  7. After the transfer is done, click "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
  8. Then, click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  9. You can now disconnect your smartphone

Changing the Phone's Ringtone:

  1. Ensure that the desired audio files have been transferred in the "Ringtones" folder
  2. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  3. Go to "Settings" and tap "Sound"
  4. Swipe to "Ringtone & Notifications" and tap "Phone ringtone"
  5. Choose the desired ringtone and apply it. NOTE: newly transferred audio files stored in the "Ringtones" folder will appear under "My Ringtones"

Changing a Contact's Ringtone:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Select the desired contact and tap "Edit"
  3. Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap "OK", followed by "Save" to confirm

Changing the Notification Sound:

  1. Ensure that the desired audio files have been transferred in the "Notifications" folder
  2. Tap "Apps" while viewing a home screen
  3. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
  4. Swipe to "System" and then tap "Notification sound"
  5. Select the audio file you wish to use as your notification sound. NOTE: newly transferred items will appear under "My Notifications"
  6. If the notification sound box is grayed out, set the "Sound Profile" from "Silent" to "Sound"
